John Jameson was not your typical test pilot or astronaut. He had a significant secret. A life-altering, mind-blowing secret. Occurring every full moon, John Jameson would become Wolf Man. But before turning into this alias, John Jameson lived his life as a normal human being. John, the son of J. Jonah and Joan Jameson, was born and raised in the Big Apple, New York City. As a college graduate from NASA, John began his career as a passionate test pilot and astronaut. This was his first and most beloved of many careers. “He was also a former security chief of the Ravencroft Institute and a freelance monster hunter. John is now currently employed by the Queens Department of Social Services in New York City” (Marvel). His career choices gave him opportunities to experience various adventures.
John Jameson was named after his father, newspaper mogul, J. Jonah Jameson. J. Jonah became extremely involved in John’s life after the passing of John’s mother, Joan Jameson. John himself was also married for a few years to Jennifer Walters, or better known as She-Hulk, but as of lately have divorced. When John wasn’t working or going through his transformations, he enjoyed reading books, going to museums, taking walks through Central Park, or catching an evening Broadway show.
